Mark + Lauren’s blooming beach wedding at Kukua Punta Cana  was the perfect example that your destination wedding can be timeless without compromising a colorful palette.

Mark and Lauren were introduced at a July 4th party at The Hamptons by Lauren’s best friend, who had been dating a good friend of Mark. They immediately got along really well and after that weekend, the rest was history!  Truly a match made in heaven, you don’t believe me? What if I tell you their favorite couple thing?  They love to travel to random new places together in search of the perfect sunsets. Romantic, I know!

Waiting for Summer to go to the beach with friends was their favorite part of the year.  So of course,  when it was time to decide where they would get married, Punta Cana, with its beaches and its sunsets, was everything they ever dreamed of.

The incredible team of Claire Duran Weddings & events transformed the grounds at Kukua Punta Cana Beach Club to give Lauren + Mark the most beautiful, colorful, sun-soaked wedding celebration with the open and seaside reception they had dreamed of as it had never been done at that venue before!   People dined and danced all night long under bistro lights, touched by a Caribbean breeze and the most gorgeous water backdrop.

All of it completed with one of our favorite elements of the day:  The cake, created by  Bake Artistry and inspired by Momental‘s watercolor stationery details. Truly an edible masterpiece.
