This time we bring you one of our most beautiful and romantic destination weddings. Lili + Leo’s Wedding in Santo Domingo Colonial Zone. Stepped in 50 parts tradition and 50 parts pure romance, it couldn’t have been more beautiful.
Lili and Leo live in NYC, they hit it off right away when they met back in college. Their love inspired them to travel around the world while building a solid relationship.
For the big day, they both had families from the Dominican Republic and Colombia traveling to celebrate their wedding. So they wanted to have a destination wedding in a location that had special meaning to their origins and culture so they set for Santo Domingo’s Colonial City in the Dominican Republic, first European settlement in the New World.
The beautiful architecture of the 1500s where all the wedding events took place, was already as beautiful as a backdrop as any wedding would ever wish. But enhanced by the work of an amazing team of creatives both from the United States and locally, lead by the uber-talented Claire Duran of Claire Duran Weddings and events, this of course made the delights of any destination wedding photographer, showcasing a lovely palette of pastels with a touch of burgundy and soft and romantic details, finished with the magic of the floral designer, Amy Lauren Floral Design
We hope you have enjoyed just a sample of L + L’s gorgeous gallery by yours truly. This is one is definitely as close to romantic perfection as it gets!
